摘要：<p>The retention arrangement comprises a static housing having a base dia. at an upstream location, and a circumferential groove having a groove dia. larger than the base dia. downstream of the base dia. An inwardly extending lip downstream of the groove has an inside intermediate lip dia. The static component fitting within the housing has a rim dia. greater than the base dia. Axially projecting lugs are on the static component, the outer edges of the lugs forming an outside dia. less than the lip dia. A split retaining ring has deep scallops and shallow scallops located on the inside edge of the ring. At least some of the scallops are separated by ridges.</p>
