摘要:The device has two sensors (20, 22) which detect the distance between the front area and the rear area of the body (10) of the vehicle from the underlying surface (26). The sensors (20, 22) are connected to a control device (28) in which their signals are evaluated and to which a signal for the speed of the vehicle is also fed. Each headlamp (12) is assigned an actuator motor (18) which can be driven by the control device (28) and by which the headlamp (12) can be adjusted in order to change the angle of inclination of the beam emitted by it. The control device (28) for evaluating the signals of the sensors (20, 22) is not actuated until the speed of the vehicle has exceeded a prescribed minimum value. During the evaluation, the sensor signals are averaged over a defined time interval. The actuator motors (18) are only driven independently of the evaluation result if the headlamps (12) are in operation. Renewed activation of the control device (28) in order to evaluate the sensor signals does not take place until the speed of the vehicle has dropped below the minimum value and has exceeded it again. <IMAGE>
