摘要：PURPOSE:To reproduce a sound by correcting automatically a sound volume change in the case of performing sound quality adjustment. CONSTITUTION:A broadcast wave is received by an antenna 4 and a sound signal is extracted by a decoder 5. A listener 7 according its preference selects an amplitude frequency characteristic stored in advance in a storage circuit 10 with a remote control switch 2 depending on a king of the broadcast wave (e.g. a drama in which voice signals are of major concern and a music program). A control circuit 13 controls the storage circuit 10 according to a command of the remote control switch 2 to set amplitude frequency characteristic data and sound volume data in which sound volume is constant even when the amplitude frequency characteristic is selected to a digital filter 11 and a sound volume adjustment circuit 12. Thus, even when the listener 7 adjusts the desired sound quality depending on the kind of the broadcast wave, the sound volume of the sound listened to by the listener 7 is obtained from a speaker 6 similarly to the case before the adjustment of sound quality and it is not required to adjust the sound quality again.
