摘要：<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a cyclic peptide such as elcatonin having promoting action on osteogenesis and suppressing action on bone resorption by subjecting a specific ring-opened peptide-resin to the cyclizing reaction on a solid-phase reactive resin and then releasing the cyclized peptide from the resin. CONSTITUTION:A ring-opened peptide-resin expressed by formula I [A is the formula Ser(X1)-Asn-Leu-Ser(X1)-Thr(X1)-X2 (X1 is H or OH-protecting group; X2 is H or carboxyl-protecting group), the formula Ser(X1)-Asn-Leu-Ser(X1)-X2, etc.; B is X3 (X3 is H or amino group-protecting group), the formula X3-Thr(X1), etc.; X is direct bond, amino acid residue or peptide residue for the Resin; Resin is solid-phase reactive resin] is subjected to the cyclizing reaction without using a proteolytic enzyme and the cyclized peptide is then released from the resin to afford the cyclic peptide expressed by formula II (X' is OH, amino, amino acid residue, peptide residue, etc.) such as a synthetic calcitonin derivative (elcatonin).</p>
