摘要：<p>PURPOSE:To provide a hot continuous rolling device line having high productivity with which such a temp. drop that the temp. drop in the edge parts of a slab extracted from a furnace is liable to be larger until the slab is bitten into a roughing mill is prevented as much as possible. CONSTITUTION:In the hot rolling device of the manufacturing stage of a grain- oriented electrical steel sheet, in the vicinity of the roughing mill of the hot rolling device line in which a slab heating gas furnace 1, vertical roughing mill 2 for edging, roughing mill 3 and continuous finishing mill 4 are successively arranged, a vertical electric slab heating device 10 having a slab carry-in device 11 is arranged. The grain-oriented electrical steel sheet excellent in the quality is obtained by executing the hot rolling of slab at a high temp. as much as possible.</p>
