摘要：<p>The transverse yarns or meshes are counted by the light pulses falling on a photoelectric detector mounted on a travelling carriage driven by an endless chain and follower pin mechanism alternately with the direction of travel of the textile and against that direction of travel, the count being corrected in accordance with the ratio of the velocities of travel of the material and the sensor. The equipment has higher accuracy than one using a fixed sensor.</p>
