摘要：PURPOSE:To provide the filter embedded type optical component with low loss. CONSTITUTION:This filter embedded type optical component is equipped with an optical fiber 1 having a mold field diameter expanded part 1b which is formed by fusing and drawing the optical fiber, heating the drawn part, and diffusing a dopant radially in the core, a substrate 2 where the optical fiber 1 is fixed, a slit 4 which is formed crossing across the mold field diameter expanded part 1b of the optical fiber 1, and a filter 5 which is arranged in the slit 4. Consequently, no bending loss is generated. Further, this optical component can be manufactured with high productivity.
