摘要:PURPOSE:To improve the adhesiveness of the title fiber to a matrix such as rubber or resin by treating aromatic polyamide fibers with a specific aqueous epoxy solution followed by irradiation with ultraviolet pulse laser beams and then RFL treatment. CONSTITUTION:Cords consisting of a kind of aromatic polyamide fiber is treated with an aqueous solution of an epoxy compound having two or more epoxy groups immediately followed by irradiating both the surfaces of said cords with ultraviolet pulse laser beams and then immersion in a RFL-contg. treatment liquor, thus accomplishing the objective improvement in the adhesiveness of said cords to a matrix such as rubber or resin.
