摘要：PURPOSE:To detect failure of winding through a simple structure by forming a control circuit so that a driving signal can be outputted for a predetermined time and the set value of reference signal for a comparing circuit can be modified. CONSTITUTION:A current detecting resistor 30 measures a voltage V, proportional to the rising I of a winding 1A at the time when a driving signal DRV is outputted for a predetermined time from a control circuit 10, and the voltage V is employed as a load signal. The load signal V is then compared with a reference signal Vref. in a comparing circuit 40. Upon decision that the load signal V is higher than the reference signal Vref. even if measurement error and the like are taken into acount, a winding 1A is decided to be short-circuited. When the load signal V is lower than the reference signal Vref. even if the measurement error and the like are taken into account, the winding 1A is decided to be opened. According to the procedures, other windings 1B-1D can also be checked easily for failure.
