摘要:PURPOSE:To secure turning stability irrespective of changes in road surface mu, by correcting the turning angle ratio between front and rear wheels, referring to the difference in the number of revolutions between left and right driving wheels as control information, so as to decrease a change in steering characteristics as the difference in number of revolutions between the left and right driving wheels CONSTITUTION:A four-wheel steering control device has a rear wheel steering mechanisms (a) which can steer rear wheels so as to determine the steering amount of the rear wheels in accordance with the steering status of front wheels. In this case, when such a turning that may cause driving wheels to slip is made, a turning angle ratio which relates at least to the steering status of the front wheels is corrected by a rear wheel steering control means (c) using such a turning angle correcting amount that increases in accordance with increase of the difference between left and right driving wheels in number of revolutions which is detected by a driving wheel rpm detecting device b, and the steering amount of the rear wheels is determined using the corrected turning angle ratio. For example, in the case of an FF car, understeering of the car which is caused at the time of front wheel slip is decreased by correcting a steering amount in the reverse direction.
