摘要：PURPOSE:To quickly and accurately grasp the cause of jamming and to accomplish rapid and accurate maintenance inspection by providing a decision means for deciding whether or not jamming occurs classifying the causes based on a signal from a jamming detecting sensor, a counter, a means for storing the reference value of the number of jamming occurring times, a comparing and deciding means and a display part control means. CONSTITUTION:When copying is started, a total copying times counter 2f is allowed to count up first. Continuously, whether or not the jamming occurs is decided in the decision means 2a for deciding jamming classifying the causes based on the signal from the jamming detecting sensor 1a, and a counter 2b for counting jamming classified by causes is allowed to count up. Next, the decision means 2d for comparing and deciding the number of jamming occurring times classified by causes compares and decides whether or not the counted value exceeds a reference value previously stored in the means 2c for storing the reference value of the number of jamming occurring times classified by causes. In the case of deciding that it exceeds the reference value, a control signal is transmitted from a control means 2e to a display part 3 so as to perform display. Thereafter, the device progresses to a step for deciding whether or not the jamming occurs by a next sensor 1b.
