摘要：The two bearing shields (11,12) are formed by aluminium die castings simply for realising exclusive holding and reception functions for the rotor shaft bearings and the stator without a machined finish. Rough web connections between the rotor shaft bearing sections and the stator ring section suffice such that the web connections are separated by large surface open partitions. A two part external surrounding plastics material casing (21,22) is provided for the generator which is positioned and fixed on the two bearing shields (11,12). The plastics casing has no bearing and holding functions, and is provided with an arrangement of ventilating slots (28a, 28b, 29a, 29b). ADVANTAGE - Gives simultaneouse improvement in housing structure at reduced cost. Gives ventilation and styling.
