摘要：PURPOSE:To obtain a lathe with a tool grinding device capable of performing the tool grinding for turning, by arranging a tool grinding device on the lathe main body so as to notch a tool to the grindstone of the tool grinding device with the control of the motion of the tool. CONSTITUTION:A tool holder 9 is provided on a tool feeding post 8 and holds the tool 10 for lathe turning. Also a grindstone 15 is fitted to the motor 14 fixed to the side of a bed 2 so that the tool 10 can be brought into contact with the grindstone 15, when the tool 10 is moved in the X axial direction. The material 11 to be ground is rotated by the motor installed at the internal part of a main shaft base 4 and cut by the tool 10. In the case of the tool being worn by cutting, a carriage 6 is moved to the position of the grindstone 15 along a Z axial guide face 5. The tool 10 is then ground by notching the tool 10 to the grindstone 15 which is rotated by the motor 14 by moving the tool feeding post 8 along an X axial guide face 7.
