摘要：The invention relates to a hanging storage element, more particularly hanging from a ceiling. The element according to the invention is noteworthy in that it includes a tray 2 which is suspended by a suspension means 6 to 10 which can be stretched out such that the said tray can move vertically whilst remaining substantially horizontal, between at least a high storage position and a low loading position, whereas a load-compensation system is set out to act on the suspension means so that the latter is permanently subjected to a substantially constant return force regardless of the load on the tray 2, which load does not exceed a preset maximum. According to one embodiment, the compensation means includes an expansion vessel 11 which is set out above the storage level of the tray 2 and which contains a liquid and which communicates via at least one pipe 12a, 12b with a flexible reservoir 5 located between the tray 2 of the element and the load. <IMAGE>
