摘要：A bandage consists of a strip (1) with a cushioning pad (2) at one end for application to a wound and at the other end is a system (5) for attaching the two ends of the bandage (1) together in the form of a loop around the body member. The method of joining the ends is designed so that a change in length of the loop within limits is permissible to allow application of different pressures between the pad (2) and a wound. The pressure can be changed as often as desired. A process for manufacturing the bandage (1) is also described. USE/ADVANTAGE - For protecting injuries on human or animal bodies. Especially useful on blood dialysis patients. The pad pressure can be changed as often as required and the bandage does not work loose.
