摘要：PURPOSE:To obtain the subject low-calorie drink having a high content of food fiber and improving action on bowel movement by decomposing an alginic acid with alginic acid lyase and using the prepared low viscosity aqueous solution of alginic acid. CONSTITUTION:An alginic acid (alginic acid, alginate or alginic acid derivative) is decomposed with alginic acid lyase and the prepared low viscosity aqueous solution of alginic acid is used to give the objective drink. The decomposition reaction is carried out by premixing the alginic acid with alginic acid lyase in powder, adding water to the blend and simultaneously effecting the decomposition reaction or by preparing an aqueous solution of the alginic acid and decomposing the aqueous solution with alginic acid lyase.
