摘要:PURPOSE:To obtain the title monofilament outstandingly excellent in flexural wear resistance and flexural fatigue resistance, esp. suitable for fabrics for papermaking canvas or filters by incorporating polyphenylene sulfide with an ionomer resin in specified proportion. CONSTITUTION:The objective monofilament can be obtained by pref. melt spinning of a composition prepared by incorporating (A) polyphenylene sulfide with (B) 5-20wt.% of an ionomer resin, a modified polyolefin produced by neutralizing with mono- trivarent metallic ion a copolymer pref. from ethylene and alpha,beta-ethylene-based unsaturated carboxylic acid or its alkyl ester. It is preferable that the melt flow rate of the component A be <=200.
