摘要：In a washing machine, the liquor level and the heating energy to be applied are to be further reduced. The washing machine used for this purpose consists of a washing drum with drivers and lip gaskets arranged in the cavity of the drivers. The liquor is conveyed out of the low position of the washing drum into a higher position by the drivers and is poured from there onto the laundry. The washing machine possesses a sump, in which the heating for heating the liquor and a pump for emptying the liquor out of the tub are also located. According to the invention, the lye flowing into the sump (7) is conveyed from below into the cavity (13) of the driver (3) by means of a pump (16), the drivers open on the outside being opened and closed by flap valves (14). The design according to the invention of the sump brings about a better filling of the cavity (13) of the drivers (3), so that, as a result, the liquor can be better utilised and, on account of a reduced quantity of liquor, the heating energy further reduced. <IMAGE>
