摘要：<p>PURPOSE:To do without attendants in handing out components from storage by actuating a tray stowing/drawing mechanism and a shutter mechanism by which components placed in a trays and stored on a tray rack can be automatically released by a required number. CONSTITUTION:A component storage tray 1 comprises an inner tray 4 provided with a chuck hod 3 at one end and an outer tray 5. The tray rack 2 is provided on the front side with a traveling handler 8 on which are mounted a tray stowing/drawing mechanism 6 and a shutter mechanism 7. Upon receiving from the control unit 16 a signal for releasing components, the handler 8 is positioned at the location of the component storage tray 1 which holds the required components and the tray stowing/ drawing mechanism 6 is actuated to draw out the component storage tray 1 from the tray rack 2. An air cylinder 23 is actuated to hold a shutter 21 against the bottom of the inner tray 4, and an inner tray chuck 18 is set to chuck the inner tray 4 by the chuck hold 3 while the outer tray 5 is clamped by a clamp 19. Actuated by a signal indicating the quantity of the components to be released which is transmitted from the control unit 16, a pulse motor A 20 pushes out the inner tray 4 in the direction of the arrow C and a pulse motor B 22 moves the shutter 21 in the direction of the arrow D.</p>
