摘要：PURPOSE:To obtain a product having sterilizing, insecticidal and antistaining functions, by mixing a bactericidal ionic metal such as copper or silver with a plastic material to form a molded produce of every kind. CONSTITUTION:A metal discharging a bactericidal ion such as copper, silver or mercury, an alloy containing said bactericidal ionic metal or, further, both metals according to circumstances is added to and mixed with a plastic molding material. As the additive material, a fine silver particle or mercury according to circumstances other than a copper powder may be used. For example, a plastic board is formed using a plastic material having the copper powder added thereto and kneaded therewith. A telephone, especially, the part of the receiver thereof is formed from this plastic material. Further, various kitchen utensils are formed and a sterilizing agent pellet is used. For example, a pellet having a diameter of about several mm is preformed using this material and added to a liquid (water) where various bacteria are liable to propagate to perform sterilization.
