摘要:PURPOSE:To obtain the titled fish meal having low thermal denaturation degree and suitable as feed, bait, pet food, etc., by treating a fish body with a proteinase, removing bones from the fish, separating into a solid and a liquid with a decanter and drying the product. CONSTITUTION:A fish body such as herring or sardine is used as it is or cut into pieces. The fish is treated with a protein-decomposition enzyme acting at a relatively low temperature e.g. proteinase or peptidase under agitation in a reactor provided with a stirrer to form a slurry. The slurry is passed through a sieve to separate the fish bones and then treated with a continuous decanter and separated into solid and liquid. The solid component is used as it is or mixed with a fish soluble prepared by concentrating a stick water separated by continuous centrifugal separation of the liquid component. The mixture is dried to obtain the objective fish meal.
