摘要:A sliding gauge has a rod and a slide which can be longitudinally displaced thereon by means of a positive guide. The rod and the slide are provided in each case with a rectangularly projecting measuring jaw in a mutually parallel arrangement. A magnetic length marking interacts with at least one length sensor (34) between the rod and the slide. In order to obtain a signal from the length sensor (34) which is as easy as possible to evaluate, said sensor has two magnets (81, 82) of oppositely directed polarity which are arranged next to one another in a plane with their pole end faces (81a, 82a). A Hall plate (85) is arranged at a distance from and essentially symmetrically relative to a pair of the pole end faces (81a, 82a) of the magnets (81, 82). The magnetic length marking can be moved above the Hall plate (85) in a plane which is essentially parallel to the plane of the pole end faces (81a, 82a) (Fig. 2). <IMAGE>
