摘要：PURPOSE:To obtain a silver halide photographic sensitive material having high sensitivity and high graininess by incorporating specified silver halide particles and a fast to diffusion coupler which generates a mobile dye by causing a coupling reaction between specified silver halide particles and an oxidized body of a color developing agent. CONSTITUTION:The title photosensitive material contains silver halide particles forming a wavy particle surface and being constituted of >=2 phases of different AgI content on at least one silver halide emulsion layer on a base, and a fast to diffusion coupler which generates a mobile dye by causing a coupling reaction between silver halide particles having higher mean AgI content than the AgI content in the external peripheral part of the particles and an oxidized body of a color developed agent. Preferred mean AgI content of the silver halide particles is 2-20mol.%. By this constitution, a silver halide photographic sensitive material having high sensitivity and high graininess providing high picture quality is obtd.
