摘要：<p>PURPOSE:To set an optimum data packet re-sending timing to coincide with the line speed of an opponent terminal per call by setting the line speed to the special field of a call requesting packet and a connection completing packet at the time of a call setting. CONSTITUTION:The line speed of a host computer (packet mode terminal) DTE stored in a subscriber attribute information storing part L-M is obtained, a connecting line speed display and line speed information are set to the special field of a call requesting packet CR in a packet sending receiving accumulating part PKT and a transmission to a terminal DTE of a terminating call side is executed. The terminal DTE obtains the line speed information from the special field of the call requesting packet CR in the packet sending receiving accumulating part PKT, a line speed/resending timer corresponding list CNT-M is indexed, the re-sending timer value of a data packet is set to a timer part TIM, a connection completing packet CC is prepared to the packet sending receiving accumulating part PKT and the transmission to a packet switching device DCE is executed.</p>
