摘要:PURPOSE:To perform error detection using the effect of consecutive transmission and to improve quality by the capacity of correction, by providing a consecutive transmission circuit and an error detection circuit in a multiplexing device, and taking interface with a relay exchange without correcting a highly efficient encoded signal itself. CONSTITUTION:When the highly efficient encoded signal is inputted from a digital line 3, the multiplexing device 1 performs the multiple consecutive transmission of the highly efficient encoded signal by the consecutive transmission circuit 6 to take the interface with the relay exchange 2, and sends it to the relay exchange 2. Also, when the highly efficient encoded signal multiple- consecutively transmitted from the relay exchange 2 is inputted, the multiplexing device 1 performs the error detection by using the effect of the consecutive transmission by the error detection circuit 7, and after that, changes it to a single highly efficient encoded signal, and sends it to the digital line 3. In such a way, it is possible to obtain the multiplexing device whose hardware scale is small and without deterioration in the quality of transmission data due to encoding and decoding.
