摘要：PURPOSE:To attain accurate test of channel by sending a caller number from an incoming terminal set to a caller terminal set via an exchange so as to detect the erroneous channel setting. CONSTITUTION:When a caller terminal circuit 1 makes a call to a predetermined incoming terminal circuit 5, an exchange 3 sets a corresponding channel 33. Then the circuit 5 reads an opposite number from an opposite number memory 6 via a control circuit 7, and a test signal of an in-band frequency in response to the number of opposite number and digit is generated from a variable frequency generator 8 and the signal is sent via an incoming subscriber line 4, the exchange 3, and a caller side subscriber line 2. Then a call number is decided by a number deciding circuit 12 detected by a frequency signal detection circuit 11 of the circuit 1 and coincidence between the result of decision and the stored value of its own number memory 13 is detected by a coincidence detector 14. The output of a coincidence signal generating circuit 15 based on the detection is fed via lines 2, 4 and the exchange 3, the circuit 5 detects an erroneous channel setting and the test of a channel is executed accurately.
