摘要：<p>PURPOSE:To permit maintenance of the water level in a sepn. tank at an adequately low level with high accuracy in the deposited state of paint scum by adopting a water level regulating means combining an overflow tank communicated with sepn. tank and operating means for lifting the water level which only makes the mere adjustment of a water flow rate. CONSTITUTION:A water level adjusting mechanism which changes over the water level state in the sepn. tank 17 to the paint scum deposited state in which the floating paint scum is deposited in the tank 17 by decreasing the water level in the tank 17 to the low level to stop the overflow of the water at a weir 19 of a capturing vessel 20 and the paint scum capturing state in which the floating paint scum is discharged to the vessel 20 by maintaining the water level in the tank 17 at the high level to generate the overflow water at the weir 19 is provided. The overflow tank 21 which is communicated with the lower part of the tank 17 and regulates the water level in the tank 17 by the overflowing water set level to produce the paint scum deposited state is provided as the above-mentioned water level adjusting mechanism. The operating means 25 for lifting the water level which increases the inflow water level to the tank 17 relatively with the overflowing water flow from the tank 21 is provided.</p>
