摘要：PURPOSE:To prevent cavitation by forming a back pressure groove which is connected to the bottom part of a vane groove on the face of one of a pair of plates which interposingly hold a rotor from both sides and providing a communicating hole communicated to a high pressure chamber on this back pressure groove. CONSTITUTION:Vanes 9 are held in the vane grooves 4 of a rotor 5 and hydraulic pressure is applied to vane bottom parts 10, to bring the vanes 9 into contact with a cam ring 3. Back pressure grooves 17, 18 for feeding hydraulic pressure to the vane bottom parts 10 of the vane grooves 4 are provided on the face of the side for supporting the rotor 5 of a pressure plate 12, and communicating holes 19, 20 connected to a high pressure chamber are provided on the grooves 17, 18 respectively. Thereby, a liquid discharged out of the vane grooves into the back pressure grooves on a discharge side can be fed into the vane grooves on a suction side, preventing cavitation.
