摘要：PURPOSE:To obtain a mildewproofing paint which has an excellent mildewproofing effect and excellent flame retardance and allows applying easily and safely, by blending a metal hydroxide and a mildewproofing agent with a soln. obtd. by dissolving or dispersing a high-molecular material in water. CONSTITUTION:Paint is obtd. by blending 5-30wt.% metal hydroxide and 10-5,000ppm of a mildewproofing agent with a resin soln. or dispersion obtd. by dissolving or dispersing a high-molecular material in water. As the high- molecular material, acrylic resins and methacrylic resins are particularly pre ferred. Examples of the metal hydroxide are aluminum hydroxide and magne sium hydroxide. Pref. the surfaces of aluminum hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide are treated with a silane coupling agent. Preferred example of the mildewproofing agent are 10,10'-oxybisphenoxyarsine, 2-(4-thiazolyl)benzimidazole, etc.
