摘要：PURPOSE:To obtain clear display element which facilitates scale up of the titled element and is capable to the orientation of a liquid crystal with a low voltage by filling the liquid crystal in two or more kinds of polymer matrixes which do not have substantially compatibility with the liquid crystal, and with said polymer matrixes with each other, followed by interposing the obtd. polymer matrixes between transparent electrode substrates. CONSTITUTION:The coated film of the titled element is formed by dissolving the liquid crystal and two or more kinds of the polymers which do not have substantially compatibility with the liquid crystal and with each polymers with each other, in a common solvent, followed by flowing and extending the obtd. solvent solution on the transparent electrode substrate plate and drying it, thereby forming voids by phase separation and filling the liquid crystal in the voids. The transparent electrode substrate is laminated on said coated film as an another one of electrodes. The obtd. liquid crystal displays responsibility in respect to electric field or heat, and is applicable to the display material.
