摘要：PURPOSE:To use a remaining number of message units as part of next telephone fee by controlling the remaining number of message units caused by the insertion of a worthy coin on the side of a switching board. CONSTITUTION:A caller from a public telephone 20 ends his call when the remaining number of message units exist. If he wants to make a call next time, a special signal is transmitted, instead of onhook. Thus a central control unit 13 releases only a channel between a callee and the switching board 10, preserves a password and the remaining degree transmitted from the telephone 20 in the prescribed area of a file, then releases the channel between the telephone 20 and the switching board 10. If the user of the telephone 20 hooks on, depresses a prescribed pushbutton and transmits a prescribed password, the central control unit 13 reads the corresponding remaining number of message units from the password, writes it in a remaining number of message unit control area and starts a normal call operation.
