摘要：PURPOSE:To expand an application range in a signal transmission by faithfully transmitting the information of a signal which alters in terms of a level in a time shorter than a transmission period without altering the transmission period. CONSTITUTION:For example, a data signal including respective signals A, B and C constituting a packet is set in a shift register 2 through a latch circuit 1. By giving a shift clock to which unit time is t-period to the register 2, data is read out and transmitted to a switching circuit 4. Meanwhile, the signal X which alters in terms of level in a time shorter than the transmission period T is inputted in a sampling circuit 3 and sampled in a sampling period which is made to coincide with a unit time (t). And the sampled information bit X is given to the circuit 4. A switching clock obtained by multiplying the time (t) by a half of the period is given to the circuit 4 and the register 2 output and the circuit 3 output are alternately switched. The circuit 4 output is converted into an optical signal in an electric/optical converter 5 to be transmitted to a reception side.
