摘要：PURPOSE:To make supply of a phosphoric electrolyte with the progress of generating reaction performable so efficiently as well as to make supply of reaction gas to a reaction interface so as not to prevent it, by forming a supply passage for supplying the phosphoric electrolyte to the reaction interface, in a part of a catalytic layer, with hydrophilic material. CONSTITUTION:A catalytic layer 20 to be applied to an anode electrode 10 is constituted of setting up a catalytic layer 20a having hydrophilic properties and another catalytic layer 20b having water-repellency in belt form at every specified interval, holding a phosphoric electrolyte on the anode electrode 10. And, fuel gas to be fed out of a fuel gas passage 8 formed in the back of the anode electrode 10 is diffused over a reaction interface through the catalytic layer 20b having the said water-repellency, whereby the phosphoric electrolyte held in the anode electrode is supplied to the reaction interface from a hydrophilic part constituting the catalytic layer at the anode electrode side, thus the fuel gas is suppliable from this hydrophilic part, and generating reaction of a fuel cell is stabilizable for a long term.
