摘要：PURPOSE:To perform an engaging stop for a winding end in an accurate manner, by setting an engaging stop hole for a flange of a spool down to a small diameter being little larger than a wire diameter of a wire rod, while forming a curve-formed part in a way of pressing this part to a wire rod winding end being inserted into the said small diameter in relation to a curve-formed machining surface. CONSTITUTION:In time of a wire rod 12 being rolled on a spool 12 as far as the specified quantity, first of all, a straight-line part of the wire rod 2 extending from the vicinity of an engaging stop hole 14 for the spool 12 to the tangential direction is inserted into each of gaps g and g' in bending part 17 and 18 of a wire rod winding end engaging stop device 16. Then, a slide 22 is made to do its forward motion, and a part of the wire rod 2 is held between the slide and a projection 27 via a pressing body 29, while the wire rod 2 is cut off in space between cutting edges 23 and 25. At this time, root-bent machining takes place for a tip part of a wire rod winding end part 2a with action of a rotary blade 26. Next, with an advance of the slide 22 insuccession, the end part 2a is bent in L-shaped form at position between two folding curved surfaces 24 and 28, and this folding curved part is inserted into the inside of the engaging stop hole 14 as it is whereby this curved part is bent in U-shaped form by pressure against a curve-formed machining surface 20 of a holder 15.
