摘要：PURPOSE:To efficiently perform filtration by feeding water between a filter plate and a filter cloth from an end part of the filter plate after a filtration process due to a filter press and forming cake into one body and thereafter feeding high-pressure air from the end part of the other filter plate to dehydrate it. CONSTITUTION:Raw liuqid is fed to a filter chamber 14 through a feed pipe of raw liquid and filtered by the cloths 15a, 15b and cake 16a, 16b stick on the surfaces of the filter cloths. Then water is introduced between a filter sur face of a filter plate B and the filter cloth 15b from an under aperture part of the filter plate B and the filter cloth 15b is transferred to the filter cloth 15a side and the cake 16a, 16b are formed into one body to form a fresh cake layer 16. Water present between the filter surface of the filter plate B and the filter cloth 15b is purged by feeding low-pressure air from an upper aperture part of the filter plate B. Then cake 16 is compressed via the filter cloth 15b by feeding high-pressure air from the upper aperture part of the filter plate B and cake 16 is dehydrated.
