摘要:PURPOSE:To prevent the reduction of the liquid crystal life due to ion pollution and to improve the chemical resistance and the reliability by positioning the color filter layer between the transparent substrate and the ion preventing layer and laminating a metallic thin film pattern and a transparent electrode to overlap a part on the ion preventing layer. CONSTITUTION:After a color filter (CF) is formed, a transparent electrode 22 is formed so as to overlap onto a CF and to a part of the terminal part. The transparent electrode 22 can be directly formed on the CF, and when the dot pitch comes to be the fine pitch of 300mum or below, the electrode is smoothed by an overcoating pattern 27 on the CF once. By the overcoating, the displaying unevenness and the life reduction of the liquid crystal can be prevented. Usually, since the CF is patterned for respective colors by the dyeing method and the printing method, the difference of 0.5-2mum occurs in the dyeing method, and the unevenness of about maximum 5mum occurs in the printing, and therefore, to laminate the transparent electrode such as ITO, the overcoating layer of about 0.2-2mum is provided, the surface is smoothed, thereby, the variance of the resistance value of the transparent electrode comes to be less and the advantageous liquid crystal driving can be obtained.
