摘要：PURPOSE:To use >=1 developer storage tanks and to form plural developing units integrally with the tanks by forming >=2 partitioned chambers where developers of different color are charged in the axial direction of a photosensitive drum and providing a magnet roller to each chamber individually. CONSTITUTION:When a partial two-color print is made in one sheet, electrostatic latent images are formed on the peripheral surface of the photosensitive drum 1 within ranges corresponding to the sizes of developing areas A and B of a developing device 5 and toner particles of different toner which stick on the peripheral surface of a sleeve roller 8 are attracted to the electrostatic latent images by magnet rollers 7a and 7b, thereby developing those latent images physically with the toner particles of different color. Then, each toner image is transferred to cut paper 21 by a transfer charger 12 and fixed on the cut paper 21 by a fixing device 14, and the printing operation is completed. The magnet rollers 7a and 7b are provided to the respective chambers A and B individually and exert no influence upon the adjacent chambers, so toner particles of two colors are never mixed with each other.
