摘要:PURPOSE:To improve the reading speed by providing a means running a picture face in the 1st direction, a light source irradiating the picture width in the 2nd direction orthogonal to the 1st direction at an interval divided equally into plural numbers toward the 1st direction, an optical system corresponding to the light source and a sensor circuit. CONSTITUTION:The light from the light source 1 is split into two and led to read point P, Q of an X-ray film 10. Optical points 4, 5 and main and sub-sensor arrays 6, 7 correspond to the split lights. A distance (d) between the points P and Q is a half of the length D in the running direction. A small light source 12 irradiates a minute hole 14 at a point R in front of the point Q by the distance (d), detects the moment a front edge of the film passes through the point R together with a sensor 13 to inform that the array 7 completes reading the size (d) and functions as a means to recognize accurately the joint of the part of the size (d) before and after. When the film 10 is run in the subscanning direction and until the front edge comes to the point P, program search is performed and when the array 7 detects automatically the arrival of the front edge of the film at the point Q then systems start reading and when the passing of the front edge of the film through the point R is detected, both the system 6, 7 complete accurately the reading. Then the two parts are combined.
