摘要：PURPOSE:To easily confirm the charging state of an electric wire even at distance by connecting a light emitting element to two electrodes wound around the outer periphery of the electric wire and transmitting light from the light emitting element to an earth potential point through an optical fiber. CONSTITUTION:One of round wire type insulating electrodes 2a and 2b is wound around the outer periphery of the electric wire 1 to specific distance and the other electrode is wound in the opposite direction. When the electric wire 1 is in a charged state, a voltage divided by electrostatic capacity is induced between the electrodes 2a and 2b and a neon lamp 5 connected to an arrester 3 and a resistor 4 illuminates. Its light is passed through an optical fiber 6 and converted by a photodetector 7 at the earth potential point into an electric signal and a decision circuit 8 decides whether the electric wire 1 is charged or not. Then, the decision result is converted by an optical transmitter 9 into light, which is transmitted to a central monitoring device 11 at a remote control place through an optical fiber 10.
