摘要：PURPOSE:To prevent papers from colliding against each other upon storing thereof, to make it possible to stable store them, by providing means for correcting the deformation of papers at a position corresponding to or upstream of the position which has a distance more than a specified ratio of a minimum paper size from a stopper in a storage section in the upstream direction therefrom. CONSTITUTION:A paper 15 is introduced by an introducing belt 14 between pulleys 12, 13 to a stopper 16 through a transfer section 17 in the direction A or B and is then stored. In this stage, in order to store papers which are liable to be folded, a first collecting member or an introduction belt 14 for retaining the upper surface of a paper is provided at a position spaced from the stopper by a distance (l) which is more than 3/4 of the length L of the paper in the direction of the insertion, and a second swingable correcting member or a lever 25 for correcting the trailing end of the papers is provided to stably store papers having various sizes. With this arrange ment, if the paper does not enter into a storage section, the lever 25 retains a paper having a large size and folded in four, at the trailing end thereof in the transfer direc tion, to prevent it from colliding against a succeeding paper introduced along the belt 14, thereby it is possible to stably store papers.
