摘要：PURPOSE:To facilitate cleaning and removal of sludge accumulated in the bottom section of a sludge separating device and to reduce the sludge to be mixed with separated water to be recycled by providing a baffle plate to the bottom surface of a stagnating section of the separated water. CONSTITUTION:A baffle plate 25 is provided upward from the bottom surface 26 of a stagnating section 20 of separated water with an inclination to a ruffling preventing plate 21 to inhibit migration of sludge from a settling and separating section 10 to the stagnating section 20 of the separated water. As the result, the slurry freed of sludge by settling while it is introduced from a slurry inlet 11 into the settling and separating section 10 being prevented from ruffling by the ruffling preventing plate 21, flows as separated water through a clearance 27 between the ruffling preventing plate 21 and the baffle plate 25 into the stagnating section 20 of the separated water, where it is freed of suspending sludge by a strainer 23, and is sucked into an outlet 24 of the separated water by a water washing pump and fed as washig water to a washing spray. Further, the sludge accumulated in the bottom of the settling and separating section 10 is discharged from a discharging port 12 of sludge and removed.
