摘要：The application relates to an anemometer having an impeller (20) which is exposed to the gas flow to be measured and rotates in a flow cylinder (14). The invention further relates to a method for measuring a gas volumetric flow using the aforesaid anemometer, and to an application of the method and anemometer for checking the tightness of components. The flow cylinder (14) of the anemometer is concentrically surrounded by an outer housing (1) which projects over the base end of the flow cylinder (14). Lateral inlet openings are recessed on the side in the outer housing. The measurement range of the anemometer can be adjusted by means of baffle plates in the outer housing which can be displaced in the axial direction. <IMAGE>
