摘要：PURPOSE:To prevent decrease of image density and increase of fog by mixing a carrier, a toner, and a fine polymer powder located nearer to the side of the toner than to the side of the toner on the order of the triboelectric series and having an average particle diameter smaller than that of the toner to prepare a developer. CONSTITUTION:A developer contains a mixture of a toner powder, e.g., having an average particle diameter of 3-20mum and a fine powder having that of 0.05- 5mum, preferably, 0.1-2mum and located nearer to the side of the carrier than to the side of the toner on the order of the triboelectric series in an amt. of fine powder of 0.01-10wt%, preferably, 0.05-2.0wt% of the toner. As the polymer to be used for this fine powder, acrylic polymers, acrylic/styrene including its derivs. copolymers, and polymers and copolymers of N-contg. monomers capable of addition polymn. are usable.
