摘要：<p>A vehicle spray control system apparatus and method for suppressing spray and coalescing and directing water droplets of tread throw which are thrown from rotating tires of vehicles via centrifugal forces generated by the rotating tires during travel of the vehicle comprises generally, various embodiments of spray controllers which may be adapted for selective location on vehicles, such as large commercial trucks and tractor-trailer combinations. The preferred embodiments of the spray controllers comprise fender flap spray controllers (1), side skirt spray controllers (6), between tractor-tandem spray controllers (12), overwheel spray controllers (7), floor sill spray controllers (9) and general purpose spray controllers. Each of the spray controllers have a receiving side and an opposite side and comprise a plurality of wedges (13), which extend from the planar surface of and are integrally formed with a base. A plurality of slots (15) which are slanted and extend at an angle through the base, are used in several of the embodiments of the spray controllers. The spray controllers are preferably formed from a flexible durable material such as rubber to resist summer heat and winter cold without softening or breaking.</p>
