摘要:<p>The printer produces machine-readable 'bar codes' on thin lamellae coupled by guide axles (24) but freely movable in parallel main planes. An actuating electromagnet (26) enables mutual displacement of the lamellae having printing edges on one side to one of at least two positions in the main planes, for setting the desired printing pattern. The printing edges are adjustable to at least two different parallel planes by this parallel displacement. - A grip claw (38) and forks (40) promote a separating effect on the lamellae diving the adjusting step. The lamellae are fixed mutually in the set position by pressing them together to provide a relative reciprocal movement of the package and object (19) being marked. The marker can be used on difficult surfaces, e.g. for tooth or corrugated cardboard. (2/4) EPAB- EP-108784 B A bar code printer (18) including a plurality of thin lamellae (20) being similar to each other and arranged close to each other with parallel main planes and bound to each other by means of coupling means (22,24) said lamellae being movable in the main planes during an adjusting step, means for promoting a separating effect of the lamellae during the adjusting step and operating means (38,40,42) arranged to mutually fix the lamellae in the set position by pressing them together and to provide a relative movement of the lamellae towards an article (19) to be printed, characterized in that the lamellae (20) are rectangular with printing edges on one side, said coupling means includes parallel guide axes (24) extending through two uniformly located elongated holes (22) in the package of lamellae, and further in that said lamellae are in operative engagement with actuating means (26,28) on the side opposite to the side with the printing edges and said actuating means allow selected ones of said lamellae to be separate displaced with respect to said guide axes (24).
