摘要：A vertical, hydraulic bending press has a ram which is connected with the hydraulic cylinder so that an even and uniform sectional modulus is applied over the full length of the ram to decrease stress concentration of the ram during bending of the workpiece. The press frame includes means for guiding the ram. Additionally, a load detection device is provided on either side of the ram so that the ram may be stopped when misloading of the ram is detected.
