摘要：PURPOSE:To prevent a failure in toasting due to heating by a method wherein a scaled disk provided around the rotary shaft of a timer is rotated by displacing a bimetal adopted to sense the temperature in a toasting chamber so that the setting of a heating time is automatically corrected. CONSTITUTION:When slices of bread are toasted continuously by an oven toaster, a first slice may be toasted in a color to the user's liking by adjusting a knob 1 of the timer to, for example, the medium position. Then, when the toasting of the first slice is finished, the bimetal 13 bends by sensing the temperature in the toasting chamber 7 and at the same time, the toasting adjusting the sealed disk 11 is rotated to the left to change its position. Thus, when a second slice and onward are toasted by adjusting the knob 1 of the timer to the medium position in the same manner as in the case of toasting the first slice, the time for toasting the second slice and onward is corrected with respect to the time for toasting the first slice since the medium position on the scaled disk 11 is displaced to the left from the time when the first slice was toasted and the time set for the timer is shortened. As a result, all of the slices are toasted in the same toasting degree.
