摘要:PURPOSE:To enable to record in the first or the second color, by a method wherein a color layer is provided on the carbon layer side of a transparent carrier base, a colored paper is adhered to the other side, and a part of a recording sheet is broken by electric discharge down to the first color layer or to the surface of the base by selecting the magnitude of an impressed signal voltage. CONSTITUTION:A signal voltage is impressed between an electrode needle placed on an electric discharge conditioning layer 6 and an electrode. When the signal voltage is, e.g., 30-40V, a part ranging to a vapor-deposited layer 5, inclusive, is broken by electric discharge, and the color layer 4 is exposed through the broken hole 7, whereby a character, a figure or the like, e.g., red in color is visualized. When a voltage of, e.g., 80-90V is impressed, a part ranging to the carbon layer 2, inclusive, is broken by electric discharge, and the color of the colored paper 9 is exposed through the broken hole 8 and the base 1, whereby a character, a figure or the like, e.g., black in color is visualized. Accordingly, the quantity of information capable of being recorded is increased, and multicolor expression can be easily achieved by only changing the impressed signal voltage, so that the construction of the recorder can be simplified.
