摘要：<p>An ink roller (1) is driven by a motor (2) driving through a variable speed gear assembly (3). An ink reservoir (5) is defined by a blade (4) adjacent to the roller to provide a film of ink with a uniform thickness. Rubber discs (6) alternately contact the roller and the first roller (7) in an inking train. The discs rotate about a common axis (9) on levers (8) to which a force is applied from a jack controlled through a solenoid. The valves are connected by multicore cable to an electronic control cabinet. The electronic circuits shift the time periods of the various inking modules and also control the speed of operation relative to the speed of the printing press.</p>
