摘要：The alignment of a tool arm pivotally mounted at one end for rotation by an electrically controlled servomechanism parallel to a steam generator semicircular tubesheet with the pivot point near the straight side center is verified by rotating the arm to three angular positions, generating a signal representing the distance of a point on the arm from the tube sheet at each position and comparing the signals. The arm is adjusted when the signals are not within a given tolerance and the checks are repeated. The point is pref. neat the free end of the arm, and spacing measurements are subsequently made at other angular positions and compared with the first three to determine whether the tubesheet surface is flat or bowed.
